Significant Career Experience

Shelly has over a decade of experience in public accounting, concentrated in tax compliance. She works with clients in a variety of industries including real estate, professional services, hospitality, retail, tech, and maritime services.

Before joining the firm, Shelly worked for BDO USA, the top 10 national accounting firm of which Wegmann Dazet is an independent alliance member. She applies her knowledge gained in that environment to serve businesses and their owners in the Gulf Coast region. Shelly enjoys helping clients maximize tax saving opportunities while promoting their growth potential.

Shelly’s responsibilities in Wegmann Dazet’s tax department include:

  • Tax preparation and review of Partnerships, Corporations, S-Corporations and Individuals
  • Year-end tax planning
